There were two parts in that village, the upper and the lower part, separated by a large road, and one house was really close to the main square where all the important stuff happened. I don’t know why, but I liked this configuration.
I’ve always enjoyed drawing towns and villages, maybe because there’s an infinite number of stories that could take place there. Each house could be home to unique people with unique lives. When I woke up, I drew the village I dreamed of and decided I would create it using Unity, so that I could explore it for real.
So I introduce my latest project: The Village. It’s going to be a game in which you will be able to explore a village and learn about its history.
Since I have several school projects to work on in parallel, I will keep it simple: I’ll download assets from the Unity Asset Store to build my village and I’ll put in a few NPC (Non Player Characters) and specific objects so that the player can discover step by step the history of the place. I’ll probably add whatever I can think of as I go and will keep you informed if I change my mind and decide to do something else entirely with this.
Well, I hope this turns out to be a nice and relaxing game for village lovers like me!
